Planning law and environmental law often require a pragmatic approach, just the kind of working method that characterises Daniëlle Roelands-Fransen, who has become a specialist in these areas of law at Pels Rijcken. Daniëlle frequently advises and litigates in major spatial planning projects like the construction and expansion of roads and area developments; projects that are often politically sensitive and involve administrative, legal and technical disciplines. In addition to the central government, her clients include municipal and provincial authorities and companies and project developers. Daniëlle shares her expertise with others through publications. She is also held in high regard as a guest lecturer and an introductory speaker. Daniëlle is co-head of the sector Real Estate within the firm.
Daniëlle studied Dutch Law at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and European Law at the University of Nottingham. In addition to her work, she also followed the Grotius course in Planning and Environmental Law. She followed a mini-MBA with INSEAD.
