Alain de Jonge

Alain focuses on civil property law and has built up considerable expertise in tenancy law. In addition, Alain commands a broad understanding of purchase, leasehold, sale and leaseback and ownership of real estate. Alain heads Pels Rijcken's Real Estate team. Advice on and litigation about urban renewal, city development and urban restructuring as well as redevelopment projects form the cornerstone of his practice. He has a keen commercial sense and developed an antenna for sensitivities real estate projects in the public domain. In addition Alain has been a managing partner of Pels Rijcken's governing board from 1 January 2012 to 1 January 2018. Alain regularly lectures on tenancy law and is the author of Huurrecht, the professional handbook on tenancy law.
